A YOUNG woman has shared the tattoo mishap that took her six years to notice.
The influencer explained how she ended up with a meaningless symbol on the back of her neck.
In her video, TikTok user Tiffany (@tiffanycarringtonn) explained that she was looking back through her camera roll when she spotted the error.
"When I was 19 I got my first tattoo, it’s on the back of my neck. I forget it’s there, I barely ever see it obviously. So I saw it in this picture and I was looking at it and it didn’t look right," she said.
The TikToker told her followers that she had decided to get a Virgo symbol since it's both her and her mother's star sign.
After zooming in on the picture Tiffany noticed that the symbol on her neck didn't look quite right.
The content creator showed her viewers the Virgo symbol, which looks like an M with a "little loopy loop that points up and is on the outside."
However, Tiffany's tattoo resembled the letter M with an inside loop that pointed downwards.
She said: "This is so embarrassing, I’ve had this tattoo for six years now. Six years, never noticed.

"I don’t know what the f**k that is but I can tell you it’s not a Virgo symbol," Tiffany told her followers.
In the caption of the video, the TikToker poked fun at the unfortunate situation.
"All I can say is ima clown," the content creator wrote.
"In my defense, I was 18 and when he showed me the stencil I was so amped about getting my first tattoo I didn’t even look," Tiffany added in the comments section.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the mishap.
"It’s okay, I got my first tattoo when I was 15 and it looks crazy now," wrote one viewer.
Another follower joked: "This was so not 'analytical nit-picky' Virgo of you."
"[It] kinda looks like they did the Scorpio one a lil," commented a third person.
