I live in a council house & I'm proud, it doesn't mean it has to be grubby, I totally transformed it & now it looks chic

A MUM has hit back at hateful comments by sharing how she completely transformed her council house into a chic new home

Tiffany, along with her husband Aaron, set up a TikTok account to share updates on their life.

The mum of three, who has been living in her house for 10 years, has now managed to renovate it.

In one video, shared to her 44.6k followers, she filmed just how much the pair have done to transform their place.

Adding subtitles to the video, she wrote: “My beautiful Council house is nearly all finished.

“YES I said it & I’m not ashamed to either.

“I work hard & pay the bills just like any homeowner.”

Tiffany added plush new wooden flooring into her hallway.

Then for her living room she matted the room out with a grey fluffy carpet, along with white wooden cabinets, curtains, and grey walls.

She also adds that a new grey sofa is pending.

In another video on her profile, she also shows off her chic and elegant kitchen too.

Commenting on her video, Tiffany explains that her home, which is ready just in time for Christmas, was built in 1992.

She adds: “I lived on the same estate growing up same street and same style house.”

And in another comment Tiffany explains that she was homeless with her three babies.

She says: “I wish I had money to have my own but it’s took me 10 years to get where I am today, as long as it’s filled with love does it really matter.”

Tiffany explained she is proud of where she lives, by writing: "My last post I had lots of comments saying it's a council house don't be proud.

"So I was making a point that's it nothing to be ashamed of."

But many people were quick to comment their praises for the couple.

One wrote: “I love you (SIC) wood furniture.”

Another wrote: “Love it! Looks so cosy all in time for festive celebrations Christmas.”

A third added: “Beautiful amazing. Contemporary modern u (SIC) should be a property developer, love the decor.”
