I went to Scotland's biggest Superdrug – mega beauty aisle's full of dupes…and Justin Bieber's go-to skincare range | The Sun

SCOTLAND'S biggest Superdrug opened on Friday and, as a beauty fan, I had to check it out.

The first thing than strikes you at the new Braehead branch is the sheer space.

At more than 9,300sq ft it's 2,000sq ft larger than the next largest store in the country – at Silverburn – and two and a half times more spacious than the average Scotland Superdrug.

Rather than cramped, packed shelves, there are super wide aisles so you can really see what you're browsing for.

The make-up section is a dream with well-known cosmetic powerhouses laid out alongside exclusive lines and Superdrug's popular own-brand products.

Brilliant brands like Milani, Bourjois and 3INA are on offer as well as the high street store's own B. Cosmetics, which are making a name for themselves with make-up influencers identifying dupes for pricey, big-name products.

I could honestly have spent hours looking at all the make-up, I was like a kid in a sweetie shop.

Facing the cosmetics is the skincare range, which is just as impressive in terms of range.

The store, which is on the lower mall level of Glasgow's Braehead shopping centre in the unit that used to house the now deceased Topshop unit, stocks loads of great brands including Starface, a favourite of superstar Justin Bieber.

And if you're in need of pampering, the mega store also has its own Beauty Studio where customers can book in for things like brow shaping, false lashes and nail treatments.

As well as all the usual toiletries, there's a huge emphasis on health with an in-store nurse’s clinic.

Customers can book in online for things like vaccines and travel medication.

And there's also an amazing range of perfume, with a luxury fragrance counter stocking the likes of YSL, Viktor & Rolf, Prada and Valentino, with regular purse-friendly promotions on perfume and aftershave.

My top tip is to pick up a Health & Beautycard if you don't already have one. The store has upped its game with this loyalty scheme with exclusive offers available for cardholders, including lower member prices, bonus points offers, birthday treats and the option to pay with points.
