I'm a dog trainer & there are three breeds I'd never own – including one whose grooming costs way more than mine | The Sun

A DOG trainer has revealed the three breeds she'd never want to own as a pet.

Ruby, who has been a dog expert for several years, goes on to say that while they're some of her favourite breeds to train, she wouldn't ever want one of her own.

The dog expert, who posted a video on TikTok (@ruby.du), started by discussing the Husky.

Keeping her reasoning short and sweet, she simply says: "The HAIR and the 'singing!'"

Next up, Ruby says she'd always steer clear of owning a German Shepherd.

Offering an explanation as to why, she explains: "The HAIR…and I don't want a dog that's smarter than me."

According to the dog trainer, the final breed she'd never want to own is the Poodle.

"They're crazy smart but their hair appointments cost more than mine!" she quips.

The post quickly went viral, garnering over 21.4 million views and hundreds of amusing comments from dog owners, all offering their opinions on Ruby's claims.

"My dog is a Husky, he literally sings like a dying rat. The attitude I receive from him is too much," joked one.

A second quipped: "Have a Wolf Husky mix! He can escape anything, sheds 18 million times a year, and constantly talks about all the problems he’s experienced that day."

A third penned: "German Shepherds are literally the smartest but most idiotic dogs. Mine can alert to low blood pressure but can't find a chicken nugget on the floor."

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "I have a German Shepherd and I don’t think she’s smarter than a pile of rocks."

Another commented: "We had a German Shepherd. Forgot to let him in after dinner. He went to the front door and rang the door bell. I cant…"

A further added: "No definitely not. My German shepherd was chewing on his own foot and managed to make himself choke on his own foot."

And one more chimed in: "German Shepherds’ intelligence is the equivalent of being book smart but not street smart."
