Nike Sportswear‘s Air Force 1 Craft is an elevated take on the classic Air Force 1 Low that boast simple color schemes and premium details. After previously releasing in a traditional white/gray and an elegant “Ridgerock,” it’s now set to arrive in a crisp “White/Obsidian” that mixes shades of sky and sea.
As is par for the course on the AF1 Craft, the uppers are made of supple tumbled leather, here done up in an airy white shade. Rich contrast is provided by dark obsidian Swooshes, tongue tags and heel pieces. Each of these three parts features an interesting detail of its own: Swooshes provide pockmarked texture, tongue tags supply a hybrid AF1 hit and heel pieces are logoless, save for a small Nike tag that hangs down below them.
Thickly-padded collars ensure comfort and nod to the Air Force 1’s original construction, with new-age lace deubres taking on a flat silver shade. Below the carefully built upper, the style is finalized with simple-yet-effective white midsoles and outsoles.
The Nike Air Force 1 Craft “White/Obsidian” is set to release on Nike SNKRS come October 16. The price is set at $120 USD, slightly elevated from a standard AF1 MSRP to allot for the premium materials.
Elsewhere, Nike Running has commemorated the London Marathon with three new takes on the ultra-fast Air Zoom AlphaFly NEXT%.
