THERE'S no denying that a pair of good-fitting jeans are the Holy Grail of the fashion world.
So with this in mind, it's hardly surprising that we wear our denim until it's literally falling apart at the seams.
Because who really wants to traipse around the high street looking for a replacement pair? Especially when we seem to be drastically different sizes in every shop.
One person who knows a little something about this is TikTok user Chloe-Mae.
Earlier this year, the 21-year-old TikToker bought jeans in her normal size 10.
But just to be safe, she also added a 12 and 14 to her basket just in case they came up small.
Despite her forward-thinking, Chloe-Mae filmed herself trying on the largest size and was horrified when she couldn't get them up over her bum.
"WTF Primark," she wrote. "I'm a size 10."
She captioned the video: "I’m bloated but still!! I refuse to buy a 16."
I don't want to support their s**t sizing. I refuse to support a brand that causes so many people to feel this way.
The clip has racked up over 400,000 "likes" since it was posted in June.
When quizzed by followers why she didn't just buy a size 16, Chloe added: "I don't want to support their s**t sizing.
"I refuse to support a brand that causes so many people to feel this way."
One replied: "I'm usually a size 10 but in Primark, I have to buy a 14."
Another claimed: "I have three pair of Primark jeans in a size 6, 8 and 10 and they're all exactly the same size!"
"This has made me feel a lot better," a third wrote. "The exact same thing happened to me the other day…"
