Carol Vorderman, 60, stunned last night in an all-black outfit featuring a show-stopping leather midi dress. The former Countdown star had travelled to Liverpool to attend the Football For Change gala.

She took to Instagram to share a series of selfies showcasing her curves in the fabulous Bardot dress.

Her outfit also featured a statement belt with an oversized gold buckle.

Carol, who chose to wear her long locks down, could be seen in good spirits as she smiled for the camera.

She also shared a selfie with Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher.

The TV star said about him in the caption: “Having THE BEST funniest night at @ftblforchange gala dinner… @titanichotelliverpool…

“Loads of money being raised…

“Jamie C is bloody hilarious @23_carra.”

In an earlier post, Carol announced she would be attending the event.

She also gave her 186,000 followers and insight into her childhood and upbringing.

Carol expressed her gratitude to Liverpool for “all of the love given” to her and her loved ones.

She penned: “At the @titanichotelliverpool for the first ever event for Football For Change @ftblforchange which is going to be a cracking event.

“The charity raises money to help underprivileged kids and does fantastic work.

“I grew up not far away in a single parent family in poverty in the 60s.

“My brother Anton was born with a severe cleft lip and palate and used to come to @alderhey Hospital for operations here on the train with my Mum. He had 24 operations in total through his life.

“I was rushed here as a toddler too for a life saving operation…@alderhey.

“So am eternally grateful to this great city for all of the love given to us.” (sic)
