Gary Barlow gave a loving tribute to his wife Dawn on Wednesday, 12 January as the pair celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary.
As well as sharing a recent photo of himself raising a glass with Dawn, the 50-year-old posted a series of snaps of the happy couple over the years – with a couple of serious throwbacks taken from Gary’s early days in Take That.
The singer began a relationship with Dawn, 52, after she joined him and the rest of the band on their Nobody Else tour back in 1995 and the pair eventually got married in 2000.
“Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary Mrs. B,” Gary captioned.
“Well, what a time we've had. So many adventures. 4 beautiful children. Here's to the next 22 and beyond. Check out the pics of the day we first me — 1988!!! Shocking!!!”
In the photos the Take That star is referring to, a baby-faced Gary is captured standing next to a curly-haired Dawn in a photo studio rocking a rather bouffant hairdo himself.
On Instagram Stories, the musician continued to upload more snaps of himself and Dawn together, with one in particular showing the couple holding hands as they displayed their matching tattoos they got on their 21st anniversary of their other half’s initials.
Gary and Dawn share three children, son Daniel, 21, and daughters Emily, 19, and Daisy, 12.
The married couple endured a tragic loss in 2012 when the Take That star confirmed in a statement that their daughter Poppy had died during childbirth.
“Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby,” it read.
“Our focus now is giving [Poppy] a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected.”
Gary and Dawn have continued to make a point of marking their years spent together, revisiting luxury resort Petit St Vincent in the Caribbean for the pair’s milestone 20th anniversary, where they travelled to on their first holiday together back in the 1990s.
“Same people, same place, 24 years apart. Dawn and I went to @petitstvincent January 1996. It was our first holiday together,” Gary captioned a photo he posted of their revisit.
“We always dreamed of going back. As this year we're celebrating 20 years married we thought it would be a good idea.”
After 22 years, Gary told Cosmopolitan UK last year that the married couple have kept their relationship strong by making sure that they go out for drinks together every Friday for a special date night.
"My wife and I like to go for a very early drink on a Friday night. While we're enjoying our cocktails, we will catch up on the week. It's a nice excuse to do that,” he said.
