Gemma Collins has revealed why she's been silent on her Instagram stories for the last few days as she confessed to being ill.
The 40 year old, who recently paid a heartbreaking tribute to her late friend Rhys Alan Smith, took to her Instagram stories to open up to her 2.2million followers on how she's been coping with her mystery sickness.
Sharing a photo of a drip going into her arm, which was secured in place with medical tape, the star explained: "Sorry been quiet guys I have been very poorly but I am feeling like I am back on the mend".
Gemma then took the time to thank her nurse, who has been looking after her, as she shared a snap of Nena dressed in all black wearing blue medical gloves.
"Thank you to my lovely private nurse nena for helping me and my lovely @sportiedoc," she wrote over the image.
The reality star followed this by sharing a short clip of Nena handling a serum drip and said: "Thank goodness I finally feel like I can get back to normal," followed by a butterfly emoji and a pink heart emoji.
The TV personality went on to reveal that her father Alan, who recently battled the deadly coronavirus, came to take care of her as she recovers from her mystery illness.
Gemma shared a snap of her dad sitting in a bright yellow vest with a black long-sleeved top underneath alongside dark trousers. Over this, she wrote: "Dad come to look after me," with a pink heart emoji, adding: "and make me tea".
The blonde beauty, who reportedly "would love nothing more" than having a baby with Rami Hawash, ended her update by sharing a selfie of herself looking worse for wear as she told her followers: "Slowly slowly getting there thank you to everyone who has bared with me," with a pink heart emoji.
It comes after Gemma recently confessed that she didn't lose her virginity until she was "older" aged 18.
On her BBC Radio Sounds podcast, Gemma made the revelation after an anonymous caller revealed that they were a 21 year old virgin and they were concerned about never having had a serious relationship.

The caller said she was “really insecure about my weight being a plus-size girl” and that she suffered from Polycystic Ovary syndrome.
The caller elaborated: “Recently it's really affected my mood. I can't help but think I'm never going to be good enough and always be the single friend.”
TOWIE icon Gemma was quick to reassure the caller, sharing the story of how she lost her virginity.
She told her: “So, hun, listen, it is absolutely fine. I didn't lose my virginity till I was 18 years old. I was older. Again if you lose it before there's nothing wrong with that.”
Gemma went on to empathise, telling the caller not to rush into anything.
She said: "I basically really feel for you, hun because you're thinking there's something wrong with you but it's absolutely fine. Wait until you're ready, wait until it just happens. Someone is going to love you for you."
