Snaps of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins hunky contestant Jake Quickenden show the star revealing his chiselled physique.
These photos were taken before the 32-year-old participated in the gruelling competitive show, displaying Jake showing off his muscles, along with his tattoos and tanned skin in a selection of shorts and a pair of boxing gloves in one image.
The handsome TV star looked far from how he felt on Celebrity SAS after suffering a horrific injury which TV audiences saw in an episode aired earlier in the week.
Jake tore his pectoral muscle and bicep during a strenuous task, which lead to him exiting the show as he had to be committed to hospital in order to recover from his injuries.
After experiencing such a traumatic moment, Jake appeared to be in good spirits in the videos he posted to Instagram Stories Tuesday, now that the injury was months behind him.
“Obviously, my injury weren’t great but everything happens for a reason,” he said about the SAS incident.
“I didn’t feel like there were any losses on that show, only lessons and I learnt a lot about myself and about my body."
Discussing his time on the show he continued: “I found getting in and out of my wet and dry kit the hardest. I hate putting on wet clothes it was horrible.
“I weren’t on a spa break, it was tough, but I just embraced and I enjoyed it.”
When a fan asked whether or not his body had recovered properly yet, Jake answered, “I’m pretty much fully there. They said that I’ll never be 100% back to how it was, but it’s like back to to 90 per cent.
“I think that’s as good as I’m going to get. It took a while, but here we are.”
Jake doesn’t have much time to think much about his experience on Celebrity SAS as he went on to reveal that he is booked and busy for the rest the year, going into the next.
He told his nearly 960,000 Instagram followers that he is has an upcoming boxing match to prepare for, as well as a singing gig on a cruise ship, pantomime over Christmas and then a Footloose theatre production he will be starring in 2022.
Along with his baby son, planning for a wedding and more work, Jake hasn’t let his injury a few months ago stop him moving.
