Khloe Kardashian opens up about her COVID-19 diagnosis

The Kardashians are never shy about sharing the events happening in their lives, whether on social media or through their various TV shows and spin offs. Needless to say, not much of their lives go undocumented. Well we don’t know about you, but we certainly didn’t know that Khloe Kardashian had COVID-19 earlier this year.

And chances are, not many people would have known about this news, as it was just revealed in a promo from Thursday’s newest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. In it, the star lies in bed, Instagram filter on, clearly very sick. “I just found out that I do have corona,” she tells us (via Cosmopolitan).

The clip also shows her family members awaiting Khloé’s test results, an anxiety that the nearly 44 million COVID-positive people around the world and their respective families are more than familiar with (via Google News). “I mean, my gut tells me she does [have COVID],” we hear sister Kim say in the clip. “Just because she’s so sick. And, that really scares me for her” (via Spectrum News).

Khloe Kardashian says that her health was "really bad"

While Khloe is up, running, and healthy again as of today, the star says that it was “really bad for a few days.” She continues, “Vomiting, and shaking, hot and then cold. I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache. I wouldn’t even say it was a migraine. The coughing — my chest would burn when I would cough. My throat has still not fully recovered, clearly. Let me tell you: that s*** is real. But, we’re all gonna get through this. If we follow orders and listen, we’re all gonna be okay” (via InStyle).

However, “following orders” didn’t seem to last for too long, as the day after news of her diagnosis went viral, the Kardashians/Jenners shared photos and posts of their celebrations for Kim’s 40th birthday. It would appear that the family violated California’s non-essential travel ban law with a non-essential trip to a “private island.” Kim tweeted, “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time” (via Twitter).
