Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong’s divorce was settled last year after the couple parted ways in 2018 and Lisa, who was married to the Britain’s Got Talent Host for 12 years, has happily moved on with new man, James Green, 37.

Since the end of his marriage, Ant is known to have found love again with Anne-Marie Corbett.

The loved up couple have often been pictured out together on dog walks and Ant, 46, even mentioned Anne-Marie when asked about where his ‘happy place’ was on December’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

And on Christmas Eve, Ant got down on one knee and asked Anne-Marie to be his wife, two years after his split with Lisa.

While some exes may feel upset by the news that their former husband is getting married once more, a source has revealed to new magazine that Lisa hasn’t taken the news to heart.

“The engagement wasn’t a shock for Lisa. She thought it would be the next step and she was actually surprised they hadn’t got engaged before now,” new’s insider continued.

“She thinks Ant is a different person. He’s not the same Ant that she knew and was in love with, it’s someone very different. The way he treated her killed all the love she had for him. They were together from a really young age and it’s like they’re both different people now.

“She wishes them well and said it doesn’t affect her. The love she had for him died a long time ago. But there is no doubt a very small part of her that it probably did hit a nerve with. It has to when you’ve spent that long with someone. But she looks at him and doesn’t see the same person any more. She see him as a stranger.”

In fact, the source claimed that Lisa, 44, is doing really well on her own and is happy to be getting to know James, who she met last year.

The source explains: “She’s doing really well on her own. There isn’t a day when she isn’t working. She’s got her mojo back and her self-esteem. She’s a very different girl to the girl she was at the beginning of all this.

“Lisa is very happy with her boyfriend. She says he’s very supportive of her. Lisa was such a support for Ant and helped him through the tough times, and now it’s her time to be supported.”

But, it seems as though Lisa isn’t in a rush to settle down again just yet, as the source adds, “Lisa would love her own engagement one day, but not at the minute.

“Because she was so hurt, she’s got that protective wall around her and she’s mainly focusing on her work. She’s going from strength to strength."
