Loose Womens Linda Robson says Stacey Solomon’s wedding was classic Stacey

Stacey Solomon looked happier than ever in her beautiful wedding photos, which captured the happy moment she tied the knot with now husband Joe Swash.

Though Stacey's wedding was low key with lots of DIY touches, the guest list was seriously star studded with James 'Arg' Argent, 34, performing, Jess Wright's TOWIE ex Ricky Rayment, 31 in attendance and her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson all there to wish her well.

Opening up about the wedding, Linda, 64, told OK! at the reality TV awards: "She organised everything down to every detail.

"It was amazing, it was classic Stacey. She looked amazing and so did Joe, all of the page boys and the bridesmaids."

She continued: "The kids all looked beautiful, we had singers, we had surprises. Jemma, her sister, had organised everything really."

The ITV star went on to reveal that many of her Loose Women stars weren't able to make Stacey's nuptials.

"There was only me, Tom and Sally – the bosses from Loose Women that went," Linda explained, before revealing that Nadia Sawalha, 57, was away and Kaye Adams, 59, was also unavailable.

"Nadia was away, a lot of people were away. Kaye lives in Scotland so a lot of people couldn’t get there," she shared.

Linda added that seeing Stacey, 32, and Joe, 40, exchange their vows was "moving" and many of the guests spent the day "crying".

"There were many best men. The speeches went on a little long," she told us with a smile. "So it was two of Joe’s best mates and all his sons and that. The kids were all page boys and bridesmaids.

The celebration was bittersweet, as Joe was walked down the aisle by his mum Kiffy, in place of his late father Ricky.

Ricky died at the age of 39, when Joe was just 11 years old, from an undiagnosed heart condition called Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS).

Linda also revealed that the moment was particualrly touching as she is close to Joe's family too. "It was very moving because Joe’s mum walked him up the aisle because he lost his dad a long time ago.

"And we’re really close with the Swash family – they live opposite me."

She added: "Everyone cried. Stacey was crying, Joe was crying, everyone was crying."

While competing on Dancing On Ice, Joe paid tribute to his late father saying: "I miss my dad every day. There's so much I'd love to show him. There are so many things I've done and experienced that I could have shared with him."

OK! has made a donation to a charity of Stacey and Joe's choice.
