Jaws dropped as Megan Fox, 35, graced the red carpet at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, as the Transformers actress’ outfit stole the show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday night. The star wore a custom sheer Mugler ensemble, with glittery underwear underneath.

She paired the outfit with gold shoes while letting her luxurious brunette locks fall loose in a wet-look style.

Posing with her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, the pair looked sensational as his eye-catching outfit complimented Megan’s perfectly.

The musician opted for a sparkly red pin-striped suit, and donned facial jewels for some added glitz.

Taking to Twitter following their debut fans went crazy for the two, who have become one of social media’s favourite couples since they went public with their relationship last year.

They started dating after meeting on set of upcoming indie film, Midnight In The Switchgrass.

One wrote: “Can’t get over these two why do they look so good together!”

A second agreed: “Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are deffo best dressed say no more.”

“And best red carpet outfits go toooooooo!” a third penned alongside snaps of the pair.

The iconic award show is never short of outrageous moments, with countless celebrities wanting to make their mark with lavish yet wild styles.

Some of the more eye-catching outfits were donned by Lil Nas X, Kacey Musgraves and hostess Doja Cat, who all stunned in shades of purple.

Rapper Doja Cat, who hosted the ceremony, strutted the red carpet wearing a toga-inspired look with a black bustier and drapey plum fabric.

She set her voluminous black and scarlet curls loose, while matching some iridescent eyeshadow to really enhance the colour palette.

Songwriter Kacey Musgraves, donned a ginormous purple feathered hat with a silk party dress and red leather opera gloves.

She paired the dramatic ensemble with a pair of clear heels.

Singer Lil Nas turned heads as he arrived wearing a glittery lavender suit oozing elegance with a long train.

The bedazzled jacket fell off his shoulder to reveal his toned chest, while he added butterfly earrings and matching rings, complemented by a white manicure.
