Piers Morgan, 54, sparked a few rumours on Twitter yesterday after he answered a fan who begged for a podcast from the Good Morning Britain presenter. The outspoken host who appears alongside his co-host Susanna Reid weekday mornings, revealed he’d been thinking about stepping into the podcast arena for some time.
I’m thinking about it… my son @StanleyMorgan18 is very keen for me to do one
Piers is no stranger to replying to fans (and critics) on Twitter, so Monday was no different.
An eager viewer pleaded with the host to branch off from the ITV breakfast show and use his opinionated qualities elsewhere.
“Said it once and I’ll say it again, still waiting for a @piersmorgan podcast,” they stated.
Piers was quick to respond saying: “I’m thinking about it… my son @StanleyMorgan18 is very keen for me to do one.”

The admission caused quite a stir on the social media site, as others flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts on a platform for Piers to rant about this, that and the other.
“I’m pretty sure a lot of people would love you to … DO ONE !!!! Piers,” one user joked, with a laughing face.
“An updated ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ Would be great,” another suggested.
A third laughed: ”Everyone is keen for you to ‘do one’ Piers.”
“It’s not like you would be stuck for words,” a fourth replied sarcastically.
“DO IT! I’d listen to it. It would be interesting to hear what you had to say that couldn’t be said on television or Social Media,” a fifth giggled.
Someone else suggested he title the hypothetical podcast “The World’s Gone Nuts”, based on Piers’ regular slur.
“Has a good ring to it,” he replied.

Piers has been using Twitter to publicly criticise the Conservative Government for not tackling the coronavirus crisis properly.
Calling Prime Minister Boris Johnson “pathetic”, he expressed his disappointment in Number 10 for not allowing the PM or any cabinet member to appear on GMB to discuss the latest epidemic that’s spreading rapidly around the world.
“Honestly, it’s pathetic. I am so disappointed in @BorisJohnson for allowing his No10 press team to treat journalists like this given he was one himself,” he wrote.
“The coronavirus crisis is too important for these stupid games – our viewers are as important as anyone else’s.”

The host has loudly expressed his fears about the pandemic getting worse than the public are being led to believe, and apologised once again to his ITV viewers about the government’s GMB boycott.
“I would like to sincerely apologise to all Good Morning Britain viewers for the Culture [email protected] refusing to come on @GMB today to discuss coronavirus,” he said.
“He did other shows but didn’t deem you important enough to inform about latest govt policy re the health crisis.”(sic)
Whether Government members will eventually appear on the ITV breakfast show is unknown, but there are updates on the coronavirus on their website.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
