Aldi’s Specialbuys go on sale every Thursday and Sunday and their garden furniture this year has proved to be extremely popular. For customers who missed out on the chance to buy the egg chair, the discount retailer is launching a larger version, which is big enough for two people to enjoy.
The new chair features a larger seat, with a rattan design, grey cushions and a steel frame.
What’s more, customers will also get a three-year warranty when they purchase the furniture.
Aldi’s website said: “Create a stunning statement in your garden with our large hanging egg chair.
“It’s timeless design and oversized cushions make it big enough to lounge in. They won’t be around for long!”
Reflecting the size difference, the large hanging egg chair will be on sale for £249.99, compared to £149.99 for the classic size.
Due to the size of the item, it is an online exclusive, meaning shoppers won’t be able to pick this furniture up in stores.
Aldi will be launching the affordable new egg chair on July 4.
Taking to social media to share their thoughts, shoppers were excited about the launch of the new chair.

One person tweeted: “I hope I’ll be able to buy one of these, this two-seater looks even better.”
Another said: “Waiting for July 4 for the return of the egg chair. Will I be a lucky one?”
“I managed to get my cat the small egg chair, now all I need is mine,” wrote a third.
Earlier this year, thousands of shoppers were held in a virtual queue in hope they would be able to purchase an egg chair.
In other Specialbuys news, Aldi’s pizza oven is still in stock online.
The Large Stainless Steel Pizza Oven is an online special, and promises to cook pizza in just minutes.
