Billie Faiers and Greg Shepherd couldn’t help but celebrate in style after getting planning permission on their new home after reports that they were previously refused.

The couple have purchased a new £1.4million mansion in Essex with plans to renovate the gorgeous property in their own way.

To celebrate finally getting stuck into the project, the Mummy Diaries couple hosted a gorgeous lunch inside the property filled with fairy lights and stunning flowers as they enjoyed some delicious food.

Billie, 30, took to social media to share the incredible photos from the special meal as she dressed up in a stunning patterned white and pink dress with sky-high heels to celebrate alongside Greg and their two children, Nelly and Arthur.

Sharing a photo of the living area, Billie and Greg are seen sharing a kiss with incredible lights hanging in the background as they stood in front of a lush green plant display.

The room was then filled with two immaculate white dinner tables with a soft pink table runner as roses sat in the middle of each seating area.

To top it off, huge pampas grass plants are seen dotted around the room, which looked like the perfect place to sit and relax while tucking into a meal.

Taking to Instagram, Billie wrote alongside the photos: “Out with the old in with the new.

“To celebrate finally getting our planning Permission … we had a little family lunch in our new home (first and last in the house as it is) before we begin our renovation project @homewiththesheps.”

“I don’t know how you pulled this one off @cupid_creative your the best Thank you for making it look so pretty and vintage of course …. you always understand my vision in every situation.”

The couple revealed that their lavish abode was to go ahead after reports of an apparent “feud” with their new neighbours.

Billie wrote on social media: “It’s a VERY happy Friday in the Shepherd house … we finally got our planning Permission for our new house and we are soooooo excited.

“Let the @homewiththesheps journey begin”.

The couple are said to have been caught in a row with locals as it was claimed their plans to build their dream home were “too grand”.

But Billie is said to have resolved the feud by making the plans “acceptable” following a series of compromises.
