TWOMINUTES TURKISH (12.20 Warwick, nap)

He was an impressive winner at Fakenham on his hurdling debut, winning by an easy 15 lengths. That race was wrapped up with the best part of a mile left to run.

Today’s opposition doesn’t look a lot stronger so he should be capable of defying a penalty for that success.

Trainer Chris Gordon is in good form which is another plus.

CATAMARAN DU SEUIL (2.15 Ffos Las, nb)

Signed off last season with a good second at Leicester where he loved the soft ground he’ll get today.

He can make jumping errors but he looked much better crossing his fences last time out.

That effort shows he is more than capable of striking at this level and trainer Dr Newland is in cracking form.

HART OF STEEL (12.45 Hexham, treble)

Champion jockey Brian Hughes stays on board this five-year-old who was a handy winner at Kelso last time.

He showed good battling qualities to get the job done there at a track that didn’t bring his stamina into play.

Hexham in testing ground will make this feel like half a mile further and that really plays to his strengths on handicap debut.
