Katie Price forced back into hospital boots after suffering ‘agonising pain’

Katie Price is back in her hospital boots after experiencing "agonising pain" – and she is reportedly devastated.

The 42-year-old former Page 3 model and mother-of-five broke her feet last summer while on holiday with her Love Island boyfriend Carl Woods and some of her children, having suffered a nasty fall after jumping off of a wall.

Sadly for Katie, her recovery has been anything but straight-forward as she is still in pain almost half a year later.

Back in November, Katie began slowly walking again and stunned doctors when she took her first steps five months after she broke the bones.

However, things have now reportedly taken a turn.

Katie kept fans in the loop today as she went for a hospital appointment with Carl.

Later on, she shared a video of her feet back in her chunky medical boots.

The Sun reports that a source says Katie is disheartened and devastated by the massive step backward in her recovery.

"Katie has been left in agonising pain from walking recently so made a hospital appointment to check on how she's healing," the source claimed.

They continued: "Unfortunately, they decided that it's best for her to go back in the boots for a little while and hold off on using her feet again.

"Katie is devastated by this as in November she thought she was truly on the path for a full recovery, but she is following medical advice and will be sticking to the boots so that she can hopefully get back on her feet sooner rather than later."

Daily Star has contacted Katie's rep for comment.

It comes as Katie and Carl are currently trying for a baby and have been incredibly open with their journey on the star's Instagram account.

Days ago on her Story, Katie told Carl "it's that time" as she shared a snap of folic acid supplements – which are taken before conception to avoid birth defects.

Speaking to The Sun, Katie said: "I’m not pregnant yet so I’ve started taking these supplements – they were recommended by a friend.

"I’ve never had to take anything to try and get pregnant before but I'm obviously older now so I need a bit of help – I'm desperate for another baby."
