Popular Netflix Originals series You will return to the streaming platform for its fifth and final season. Starring American actor Penn Badgley, the show has previewed four successful seasons thus far as Netflix announces more to come from Joe Goldberg in 2024.
You‘s fourth season has just wrapped up, making its debut across a two-part release that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The 10-episode installment saw Joe Goldberg escape to London, hoping to track down his lost lover Marienne Bellamy. While doing so, Goldberg tried to escape his obsessive past and was hunted down by English author Rhys Montrose, who aimed to execute Goldberg’s new group of wealthy friends. Finally, Joe and his new love interest Kate Galvin fled to New York City to start fresh while leading her father’s multi-million-dollar corporation.
You‘s fifth season will see a change in showrunners as developer Sera Gamble will step down from her role, taken over by executive producers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo.
The new season will begin production later this year and is scheduled for a 2024 return date. Stay tuned for further details.
