Over the past few months we have seen some weird and wonderful items drop from various brands. There was the wine tote bag from Nasty Gal and also the genius invention of the ‘Honcho’ from ISAWITFIRST. Oh and who could forget the KFC fashion range?
Well, this latest collection to be launched could possibly be the most random yet intriguing range we have seen.
Papa John’s is known for serving up some of the most delicious pizzas to our doors, but what we didn’t expect to see is them to be offering up a chance for us to buy some of their old delivery driver uniforms – because who wouldn’t want to walk down the street looking like a pizza delivery driver hunting for their lost motorbike?
We know this might be a weird one but stick with us as we’ll explain in more detail.
As the famous pizza company swaps driveways for the runways, Papa John’s has dropped this slightly bizarre collection in homage to pizza delivery drivers all around the nation and their efforts as key workers over the last year.
Even though they might not be directly credited as key workers, they definitely were as our waistlines can vouch that we ordered more than enough takeaways during lockdown.
The collection is available exclusively on fashion resale app Depop on the brands profile which is @papaxcheddar.
As you scroll through their page, you can find a whole host of past delivery driver merchandise, including a £175 helmet if you want to splash the cash.
Whilst we may not be sold on the helmet or baseball caps, we are however very tempted by the slogan tee’s and bomber jacket.

The white tees come in the brand's well-known colours which include yellow, green and red and that may be where some draw the line, but you can go even further as to buy one of the drivers jackets.
The item is captioned as: “One of a kind. Street style meets Cheddar style in this urban icon of cool – the biker…as seen on a Papa John's delivery driver near you with intricate detailing.”
We think we can definitely agree that this is a one of a kind collection and we can’t wait to see everyone sporting their pizza driver outfits throughout the summer. Do you dare?
