Stacey Solomon’s Instagram page is filled with tips and trick on how to keep a tidy home…. but not on Wednesday night!

The Loose Women panellist took to social media to share with fans how to turn your bathroom into a beach for her children to play in, and to be fair it is one of her few hacks that we are not sure we want to copy.

First she took to her Instagram Stories to share that she had ordered a huge bag of sand for Rex’s sandpit.

She wrote: “The boys are losing it because I ordered some sand for Rex’s and pit and somehow the whole of Southend seafront has been delivered I need to start reading measurements.”

In the clip her three sons, Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight, and Rex, 19 months, can be seen to be jumping up and down at the window exclaiming “We want a beach! please we want a beach!”

Next thing we know and Stacey has shared a shot of her bathroom floor filled with sand, captioning it: “I caved. And I’m filled with instant regret."

The fiancee of Joe Swash then continued: “But in all honesty I want to see a beach as much as they do right now so bring on the mess”.

The doting mum of three then showcased how they made the indoor beach, posting footage of her sons ferrying the sand up the stairs in bowls to be placed on top of the bathroom floor which was covered in bin bags.

We can then see that she has added blue dye to the filled up bath to make it appear more like an ocean.

The boys then got in the water and splashed about drinking fruit juice just in their swim shorts, just like they were on holiday.

Although Rex's babygrow looked almost as grubby as the bathroom, good-humoured Stacey wrote:“Cleaning it up is going to be horrendous but it was worth it to see their faces.

"And nice to not be moaning and shouting at them for a few hours.”
