Following the release of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, Apple is now rounding up its flagship device series with a smaller model and high-end option. The iPhone 12 Pro Max features the most advanced pro camera system and the largest display ever on an iPhone, while the iPhone 12 mini is the smallest, thinnest and lightest 5G smartphone in the world.
The sleek iPhone 12 Mini comes in five aluminum finishes, including “Blue,” “Green,” “Black,” “White” and “(PRODUCT)RED” with 64, 128 and 256GB options. While the higher-end iPhone 12 Pro Max comes in four stainless steel finishes, including “Graphite,” “Silver,” “Gold” and “Pacific Blue with 128, 256 and 512GB options.
Aside from helping reintroduce the familiar flat edge design both phones feature the new Super Retina XDR display which is 11 percent thinner, 15 percent smaller and 16 percent lighter than previous displays. The 5G capable iPhone 12 Pro and Mini also utilize Apple’s proprietary A14 Bionic chip constructed with a bleeding-edge 5-nanometer manufacturing process that fits 11.8 billion transistors for lower power consumption for a given amount of work. Each model is also outfitted to use Apple’s MagSafe charging system that falls in line with its environmental goals.
Starting at $1,099 and $699 USD, the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini is available now online, at Apple locations and from authorized resellers.
