THE Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of National Hunt racing and racing fans are already looking forward to a memorable week at Prestbury Park.
The 2020 Festival takes place between 10-13 March and here's all you need to know.
What is the Cheltenham Festival?
The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest meetings in the National Hunt calendar.
The Festival consists of four days of top-class racing action with several Grade 1 races including the four Championship races – Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase and Stayers' Hurdle.
Thousands flock to Cheltenham from across the country and elsewhere with a large number of Irish racing fans making the trip over.
When is the 2020 Cheltenham Festival?
This year's Cheltenham Festival will take place on Tuesday 10th March through to Friday 13th March.
Tuesday is traditionally Champion Day, Wednesday is Ladies Day, Thursday is St Patrick's Thursday and Friday is Cheltenham Gold Cup day.
What time does the racing start at Cheltenham?
Each day the first race will start at 1.30pm.
There are seven races on each day and the final race is due off at 5.30pm each day.
How can I watch the Festival?
The racing will be shown live on Racing TV and ITV.
However, ITV are yet to confirm exactly how many races each day they will be showing.
