Antiques Roadshow fans gobsmacked at eye-watering value of vintage honey pot

An Antiques Roadshow guest was left utterly speechless when she found out the incredible value of her vintage honey pot.

The hit BBC antiques show took a trip to the lavish Belmont estate in the heart of the Kent countryside on Sunday night (May 21), and it wasn’t long before viewers got a peek at a very pricey item.

Audience members gathered around one lucky owner who had brought in her kitchen-favourite to show off to the viewers at home.

It was a beautiful little honey skep which was made out of gilded silver back that dated back to Georgian England in 1828.

The priceless item featured delicate engraving of a little bee on top gathering the nectar from a beautiful flower which she inherited from her late brother-in-law.
