Their co-host Nina Warhurst was reporting live from Manchester where she interviewed Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak. The interview quickly took a turn when Warhurst grilled the MP on Universal Credit. The presenter got frustrated when Sunak appeared to dodge answering her question. However, some viewers were left unimpressed by Warhurst’s interview technique, with many claiming the presenter was interrupting the MP.

Hannah complained: “#BBCBreakfast is Nina interviewing herself? Let the guy speak, please. Constantly interrupting makes it difficult to watch.”
