Debbie Dingle returns in Emmerdale tonight

Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) makes her long-awaited return in Emmerdale tonight (January 11).

The mainstay of the ITV soap departed the village in 2019, after Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) left her a garage in Scotland.

She made an unannounced appearance on Christmas Day just past, as she was revealed to be none other than Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) mystery woman.

Debbie’s daughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) has been struggling as of late, and Friday’s instalment saw the young girl run away with Danny Harrington (Louis Healy).

In tonight’s episode, tensions are running high, as Charity (Emma Atkins) discovers that her granddaughter has gone missing.

Debbie soon arrives back in the village, and it’s safe to say she’s fuming about her daughter’s disappearance!

Meanwhile, at a barn nearby, Sarah bonds further with Danny, as he opens up about his own problems.

They get closer and begin to undress — that is, until Debbie and Charity burst through the door, which causes Danny to hightail it out of there!

Debbie demands answers from Sarah, and she’s ultimately riddled with guilt, as the young girl opens up about how lonely she’s been.

Will Debbie decide to stay put now that she’s home?

If so, what will this mean for Al Chapman’s relationship with Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade)?

Emmerdale continues Monday January 11 at 7pm on ITV.
