Gogglebox favourite shows off unrecognisable new look with daring hair makeover | The Sun

A GOGGLEBOX favourite showed off a striking new look to celebrate the programme's 10th anniversary.

Channel 4 show star Sandra Martin, 61, who joined the series in 2013 with best mate Sandi Bogle, 57, revealed her hair makeover on Saturday's BBC Breakfast.

It came just a day after The Sun exclusively reported her views on the pair's "feud."

Sandra was a Gogglebox favourite between 2013 and 2017, while Sandi called time on her stint a year earlier.

During their time reviewing the telly, Sandra often wore her hair short, cropped to her head, and sometimes dyed bleach blonde.

Yet on today's BBC flagship news show, she revealed a bold blue hairstyle.

Sandra told how she was approached for the show at a pub in Brixton on her 50th birthday party.

She then caused havoc as she interrupted host Naga Munchetty to say hello to her pals.

Earlier in the show, Naga had taken a swipe at her co-host for "trumping her."

Meanwhile, this week Sandra exclusively told The Sun she is back on benefits four years after starring on the show that made her famous.

As the show’s popularity grew, the duo were being invited to every red carpet event, and Sandra claims Channel 4 were paying her more than any other cast member, allowing her to enjoy a “luxury lifestyle”.

But, in 2016, Sandi left to pursue other career opportunities, including a stint on Celebrity Big Brother, sparking rumours of a feud between the pair.

Sandra managed to find a friend to go on the show with her, but claims producers weren’t keen on having someone with an American accent, so she eventually opted for her daughter Chanchez Martin.

However, that still came with its issues.

Sandra explained: “I didn't want to talk about sex in front of my daughter on the TV, and I was also getting a lot of backlash like, ‘Where’s Sandi?’

“I could’ve stayed, they offered me real money, but s*** happens."
