Hollyoaks’ Cleo McQueen returns and Mitchell makes devastating corpse discovery

Hollyoaks spoilers have revealed that Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) will make an explosive return to the village in upcoming scenes.

It's extremely awkward for Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) when his ex-girlfriend unexpectedly arrives in Chester.

Mitchell's brother Toby (Bobby Gordon) instantly takes a shine to Cleo and her arrival also reignites Walter Deveraux's (Trevor A Toussaint) desire for his grandson to have a "proper" family – which doesn't include Mitchell's husband Scott Drinkwater (Ross Adams).

Hurt by Walter's suggestion that he and Mitchell can't be a proper family, Scott suggests that they should consider adoption.

Meanwhile, Cleo reassures Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) that she's come back a strong person and decided not to make things awkward when she bumps into Scott.

However, Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) isn't buying Cleo's new "zen" attitude and questions why they haven't heard from the blackmailing doll since she's been back.

Theresa and Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) team up to confront Cleo about being the blackmailer – but have they got the right person?

Elsewhere, Toby finds out that Lisa Loveday's body could be unearthed at Mitchell and Scott's wedding hotel.

Toby and his sister Celeste battle to protect their killer secret as Martine Deveraux (Kelle Bryan), PC George Kiss (Callum Kerr) and Mitchell get a little too close for comfort, but it's too late when Mitchell wanders into the garage.

Hollyoaks fans will remember that Toby murdered his cousin Lisa earlier this year thinking it was Mitchell.

Toby and Celeste managed to hide the body and convince their family members that Lisa had fled the village for a new life in Ibiza.

What will Mitchell do when he discovers Lisa's dead body?

Also Marnie Nightingale grows suspicious of Juliet Nightingale and decides to confront dangerous drug boss Victor Brothers.

Nancy Hayton (Jessica Fox) calls Marnie, Mishah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) and Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) to Salon De Thé to discuss the drugs problem in their community.

When she lists the warning signs that they need to be looking out for, Marnie recognises all of them in Juliet.

She gets Victor's number from Juliet's phone and arranges to meet him, putting herself in grave danger.

Fans will have to wait and see how Juliet reacts when she finds out that Victor has targeted his grandmother.

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Thursday on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
