The ITV reality show is facing its first “fix row” after viewers claimed I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has been “set up for” Danny Miller to win. The Emmerdale star was scrutinised by viewers who said he got an easy ride during a disgusting eating trial. Following Danny’s triumph, fans took to social media saying he “didn’t deserve to win that trial”.

I’m A Celebrity’s first challenge of the series was the dreaded eating trial that Danny and BBC 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy were faced with.

The duo were confronted by cows’ noses, pigs’ testicles, and fish eyes and things got worse once the challenge began as Danny kept retching through the entire trial.

In the end, 30-year-old Danny won the challenge, providing his team with some much-needed food.

He managed to swerve adding any extra disgusting dishes to his round, while Snoochie was forced to drink a blended pig’s uterus and eat vomit fruit.

Following the trial, viewers thought the Emmerdale star was given an easy ride and now believe he has been “set up” to win the series.

Fans took to social media to state that they have been seeing more of the actor than some of the other contestants – with their theory being that the more camera time you get, the higher your chances of winning are.

Kevin Barnes remarked: “That eating trial was a fix! The meal wheel stopped and then moved backwards for Danny so he didn’t have to do it, and then he didn’t keep all the meals down either, and he had the easier meal options #ImACeleb #fixed #fake.”

Sam Shephard tweeted: “#ImACeleb I’m predicting that Danny will win unless he is forced to leave due to medical reasons, i.e he’s dehydrated from being sick so much.”

Michael quipped: “That meal or no meal spin was so set up for Danny  #ImACeleb”.

Sheila Oliver added: “Danny didn’t deserve to win that trial. Sorry but there did appear to be an unfair bias in Danny’s favour. #ImACeleb”

Gary added: “It’s almost as if they were surprised that their rigged wheel didn’t work the first time around!! #ImACelebrity #ImACeleb”

However, many fans have shown their support for Danny, with Carla Hodan commenting: “Danny Miller is the only reason I’m watching I’m A Celeb.”

This year’s season includes some impressive names, including TV presenter Richard Madeley, former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and football star David Ginola.

The latest series of I’m A Celeb has already seen friendships form as the two groups of contestants help each other through the various challenges.

The stars have been split into teams and have gone up against each other to win prizes.

The series is being filmed in Gwrych Castle, in North Wales, and it’s been nothing short of dramatic since the launch.

On Tuesday night viewers were baffled as producer Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, threatened to quit the show.

The music legend is currently locked in the Castle Clink living on basic rations while being separated from the main camp.

Will he end up packing his bags and being the first to leave the show by choice?

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here continues weeknights on ITV.
