Joey Essex shows off flooded jacuzzi and 'broken' pool after storms hit Essex as he counts down to huge NYE party

JOEY Essex was left devastated as he showed fans the damage to his jacuzzi and "broken" pool area after storms hit Essex.

The former Towie star, 31, fell victim to the harsh weather which wreaked havoc on his £3million bachelor pad.

Earlier this week, Joey showed fans the damage and listed several problems including a flooded jacuzzi and wrecked outdoor area.

He also shared a series of photos, which featured a palm tree snapped in two and other plants destroyed.

Alongside the Instagram Story, he wrote: "Lights broken, basketball net tipped over, jacuzzi flodded and to top it off palm tree snapped in half."

After discovering that his exotic trees were beyond repair, the gutted star wrote: "Merry xmas palm tree you meant so much to me 🌴😤."

Despite the disruption, the reality star is still buzzing for tonight's New Year's Eve celebrations and is counting down the hours.

He added: "2021 I won't miss you.

"Tonight we will go out in style, I'm here for it, fully ready."

Joey regularly gives fans a glimpse of his stunning abode- in snaps that look more like Spain than Essex.

Joey bought the luxurious mansion when he was just 24.

"I can make some cocktails. I've got champagne on fleek. Round here we only really drink champagne."

The tour began in his first of many walk-in wardrobes where a small fortune in clothing was neatly ordered according to colour.

He later showed off two more – one housing his denim garments and suits and a third where he kept a staggering 45 white t-shirts.

Taking cameras into his master bedroom he announced: "You're lucky, only a few people see this room" before bouncing on the blue velvet king-size bed.
