June Osborne is finally free and with her freedom comes the chance to get justice for all those victimised by Gilead.
At the top of her list is Commander Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and his wife Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski).
As the establishers of the Gileadean state and June’s owners, they subjected her to a mountain of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse for seven years.
In that time June made countless attempts to escape, however, this was the only one that proved successful and at last, June was reunited with her loved ones.
With Fred and Serena in custody awaiting trial, fans watched on as June made the shocking decision to pay Serena a visit.
Trauma consumes June as she is reminded of the horror endured as a Handmaid in Gilead.
An emotional June promised Serena that she, too, would feel the pain inflicted on others, prompting a desperate apology from Serena.
June is forced to conceive with Fred while Serena is now pregnant. But Serena is desperate to raise her child – despite her atrocities.
