Jonathan Ross has revealed there will be at least "five or six internationally famous household names" to appear in the new series of The Masked Singer and a catalouge of "surprises" in store for viewers.
The popular ITV show will finally make its highly anticipated return to screens on Saturday, January, 1 at 7PM and many bets have already been placed on who the stars could be.
Talking exclusively to Daily Star, panellists Jonathan and his co-star Mo Gilligan gave insight into the new series and expressed that it has become extremely difficult to discover who's behind the elaborate costumes.
Jonathan explained: "The cool thing about this series is that at least five or six of them that are internationally famous household names.
"Not necessarily all from the world of music, many from music, but others from other areas of achievements as well.
"But they are like you know the biggest stars in the field. Like wow.
"And then there is a handful of people who are just like great bookings because they are fun and they play along who everyone in the UK will know very well."
The TV legend also admitted that there was a particular performer which left the panellists stunned.
He continued: "I know there was a particular one moment after we left after the show and after the big reveal, Mo said to me 'I can not believe we saw that person on the stage. I cannot believe it!'
"So there will be some real big surprises for some people," he shared.
Adding his views on the show, comedian Mo mentioned that he believes this series will be very difficult for fans to guess who the stars could be.
He said: "I think it's safe to say that with this series, just like the last series, there is a lot of surprises.
"But I feel like this is a lot harder now, the guesses have become a lot harder and people who are competing are finding ways to change their voice when they sing."
He added: "Every episode is different, I think that is what's really nice. This isn't a show where it kind of feels the same, every episode is completely different which is great!"
The last series of the popular guessing show saw several famous names grace the stage.
Some of the stars included American singer-songwriter Neyo, JLS's Aston Merrygold, comedian Lenny Henry and TV presenter Sue Perkins.
Singer Joss Stone went on to win the show playing the role of Sausage.
