This Morning regular ‘missing’ from show as segment is cancelled amid Phillip Schofield drama | The Sun

THIS Morning regular Sharon Marshall was missing from her regular slot on today's show.

The soap expert's weekly segment was cancelled amid ongoing turmoil at the daytime programme.

It follows the dramatic departure of Phillip Schofield as Holly Willoughby's co-host following their off-air feud.

Alerting fans to her planned absence, Sharon said before the show: "No soapbox today, as busy preparing material for next week’s This Morning super soap week ahead of the British Soap Awards.

"We’ll be chatting to the biggest names in soap ahead of the big night x."

Phillip revealed on Saturday he was leaving This Morning with immediate effect after a fall-out with Holly, his co-host of 14 years.

Meanwhile soap screen-writer Sharon is set to return to the This Morning sofa next week.
