Wendy Williams accuses Naomi Campbell of ‘creating mass hysteria’ by wearing hazmat suit over coronavirus fears – The Sun

WENDY Williams accused Naomi Campbell of 'creating mass hysteria' by wearing a hazmat suit and face mask to the airport over coronavirus fears.

The daytime talk show host said she's not sure she supports people taking their precautions this far.

Wendy said during Hot Topics: "I'm not sure I'm down with it. Part of me says the stats are going up.

But the other part of me says they might be creating mass hysteria, including telling me no audience. Even I didn't go there."

She claimed the supermodel is a known "germaphobe" and must be freaking out over coronavirus.

Naomi captioned the picture: "Safety First. NEXT LEVEL" and said the full video will be her YouTube channel soon.

Last summer she shared a video about tips for avoiding germs while flying.

She said: "Clean anything that you could possibly touch" and preceded to disinfect her seat, seat belt, tray table, TV screen, remote control and window with anti-bacterial wipes.

The coronavirus has infected over a 100,000 people and killed over 4,000 across the world.

Wendy announced yesterday she would be joining a list of other shows including, the Dr. Phil, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, suspending her live studio audience.

The show released a statement saying: “Wendy values her co-hosts and their daily participation but in light of the current health climate, The Wendy Williams Show will not have a live studio audience until further notice."

In response Wendy invited her staff to fill her audience seats.

She said "They were calling doom and gloom, but in my mind I was like this is the show I've been waiting to do for the last 11 years."

Wendy then proceeded to pass around candy cigarettes to the audience, joking about their stress level.

The CDC recently advised people over 60 and those with underlying health problems to strongly consider avoiding activities that involve large crowds and going on long flights.

However she added, "Here in New York there's supposed to be a nationwide council meeting with the top heads of state and whatnot about corona.
"The meeting has been canceled.
"So if the the corona officials are canceling meetings what are we still doing?
