BBC Radio 1 favourite Scott Mills is officially engaged to his partner Sam Vaughan.

Who is Scott Mills' partner Sam Vaughan? 

There's not much public information regarding Sam's age, or where he was born.

According to Sam's Twitter bio, he is a UK brand manager at Nation Broadcasting Radio Wales, where he sometimes plays songs.

He started off as a marketing coordinator for Global Radio in 2014.

He then went on to become a presenter across South Wales on local radio stations Bridge FM and Nation Hits.

From working with local stations he then became a national radio SPI executive, where he stayed for seven years before his job as a brand manager.

He currently has over six thousand followers on Instagram, where he regularly posts cute pictures of him and Scott with their dog, Ted.

The pair manage an Instagram account for their dog, Teddy the Cavapoo.

How long have Scott Mills and Sam Vaughan been dating? 

The 47-year-old DJ just announced his engagement to his partner of four years, Sam Vaughan.

The Radio 1 DJ said in a tweet announcing the engagement to his 1.2 million Twitter followers: "After 4 years together I’m delighted to say we got engaged at the weekend.

"As Sam knows, I always said I didn’t think I would ever get married. But then I met you Sam."

He continues: "You make me laugh every single day, you support me in so many ways and I adore everything about you."

Scott also shared an Instagram post saying: "On Saturday the love of my life asked me to marry him and of course I said yes!

"I’ve had the most amazing four years and can’t wait to continue our journey! 

"As soon as I met you I knew this could be something special and it is (after a slow start)

"We’ve had some amazing times, and I’m bursting with happiness to know we will have so many more. I love you with all my heart."

He continued: "I never thought I’d find somebody who’s as obsessed with Sky News as me and I can’t wait to call him my husband!"
