GAME of Thrones actor Max von Sydow sadly passed away at the age of 90, on Sunday 8th March, 2020.

He was best known for his roles as the Three Eyed Raven in Game of Thrones and as Father Lankester Merrin, the priest in 1973 film The Exorcist. But what else do we know about the much-loved star?

Max married Swedish actress Christina Inga Britta Olin in 1951 and the couple went on two have two sons together, Clas and Henrik.

The couple divorced in February 1979.
