A cause of death has yet to be revealed and the case is still under investigation.

"He was the best thing you can ever have for the time that I had to spend with him. It was some of the best time that I had in my life," Damari's father, Dalvin Driver told ABC7.

"He was just the life of me, man. It's like you can walk in the room and everybody loved him!"

"We're all shocked! We're all in disbelief! We all don't understand how she could let it get to this point.

"My little cousin should've been away from her!"

What did Jannie Perry say about her son's disappearance?

Damari's mom, Jannie Perry, initially told FOX 32: "He was out with his sister at a play date. She had a cocktail. I guess someone put something in her drink.

"She ended up falling asleep. When she woke up, my son was gone.

"When she questioned the girl about where my son was the girl said she didn't know. When she came home, I reported him missing."

Police were also told that Damari and his sister were driven to the alleged party by two people known as "Monique" and "Wacko."

Investigators later revealed that this story was untrue.
